*stalled*

Ok I’ve been thoroughly checked out and there is some leakage, but other things aren’t moving along fast enough. So I’m on antibiotics for prevention of infection and unless anything dramatic happens - we go back Thursday morning for more tests.

          • Same exact thing happened to me! Water broke (or started leaking - I didn’t have the big gush either) but had no contractions so they started me on antibiotics. Hopefully yours will have already started but if not try walking up as many stairs as possible, seriously…this helps. You want to avoid induction as much as possible because of the no pain meds and really who wants to go through labour hooked up to an IV. Your baby will be here very soon. Ganbare!!!

            • Don’t the Japanese say pregnancy is 10 months, not 9 as we say in the West.  maybe you’ve entered your 10th month. let’s hope we don’t see your 11th, ok. remember you’ve lots of friends thinking of you and wishing for a glorious birth, because, well it is afterall.

                • Oh! Do the stairs thing, but do it two at a time. Widens the pelvis, don’tcha know.

                  My fingers are crossed!
