One may joke then the bonus about being pregnant is that you don’t have periods for a long time.

However one thing that is often not mentioned is the amount of bleeding and discharge for weeks after you give birth. This discharge is called lochia.

It’s one of the reasons why you just feel like all the fluids are constantly leaving your body after giving birth…..
