Which was a week ago - but this week has been a blur of sleep deprivation and work and Elliot so am behind on writing. And just about everything else. *sigh*

Anyway we don’t have to go anymore because both Elliot and I are über genki it turns out - well him more than I although my stitches have finally dissolved and I don’t wince every time I sit down anymore. My uterus has shrunk back nicely it seems as well.

Elliot gained the requisite 1kg in weight and no socks were lost as I didn’t put any on him. The doctor asked me if my body has gone back to what it was pre-pregnancy and I just laughed at him. I did comment that he had diagnosed me with quite full on anemia only a few weeks earlier and that I had a stitched up fanny - both not exactly conducive to rigorous training. *non-plussed*

He only had a slight melt down this time too. Actually the nurses were going crazy over him this time - they all wanted to have a hold and cuddle. A few older women waiting with their daughters in the clinic also went ga-ga over him - one I thought was about to steal him, she didn’t want to say good bye but kept holding onto his little hand. Then the older lady at the supermarket register fell in love with him. He’s a serious baba-magnet. I should start charging money for a cuddle….
