i think someone just fell in love
I don’t think Yoshi was quite able to understand what was really going on inside my rapidly expanding tummy.
Tonight he found it hard to drag himself away from watching Elliot sleep. He is amazed by this little creature who looks like him. He wants us well and home already. He might feel differently after a few nappy changes though…

How long til you get to go home? Poor Yoshi must be lost at home alone.
I do hope you’re getting sufficiently rested. Remember that first & foremost, your main priority needs to be looking after yourself. (In other words: Put your own oxygen mask on first.)PS Missing your company.

awwwwww yeah. We’re only 11 weeks ahead of you in the process, there will be much staring in amazement at this perfect little creature the two of you made. Enjoy that. It’s wonderful and it will go by soooooo fast.
Get some sleep, drink some water, and bask in the glow. You earned it! -
We’re almost 10 months in, and I can tell you, the staring in amazement never really stops. Fortunately, the daily crying jags do.

That feeling of wonder doesn’t stop. Rachel is now 9years old, yes 9 and she still amazes me. She can astound me with her intellect, melts my heart with her kindness and still loves a cuddle, especially when she is sick. The boys are also wonders. Loving them never stops. Liking them every second can be the hard bit.
Congrats to you and Yoshi on the creation of Elliot..(Love the name). I still love the photo I have of you when you visited me in hospital when I had Rach. MJ, I was truly touched that you visited me on the way to the airport to go home to Japan. Thankyou for your generous spirit.
