The blood loss has made me anaemic.
They didn’t realize until the blood test yesterday - I look pale all the time after all…

Oof. Will they do transfusions?

Transfusions are not likely. The blood supply here is suspect (since an incident with contaminated blood several years ago) and I don’t think transfusions are common except in serious emergency cases. Plus, I bet they think they would have to find gaijin-donated blood.

I’ll bet they will force feed MJ liver and onions until she cries. :-(
