Hanging Out in the Backyard
First Official Day of Kindy Class
EM is settling in at his new daycare, and today he went permanently in the Kindy class. Which means just another year before he goes to school!
Hopefully we’ll have pooping in the toilet worked out by then….
No Mummy I’m NOT Tired!!
EM falls asleep during dinner 2 minutes after claiming he wasn’t tired.

Buggy Cool
On our way home from new daycare. EM is settling in there well - and is loving the food they serve it seems.
We’ve had multiple meltdowns before and after though - but seems they are restricted to Mummy time only - his new carers think he’s an obedient angel.
We are back to riding in the buggy every day now - come shine or massive monsoonal downpour!

Alex Perry is an Australian fashion designer who always has sunglasses on his head (to hide his disappearing hair situation I suspect).
Knife & Fork
This knife can with persuasion slice through roast potato and turkey breast, EM decided on his own he wanted to use and tried very hard to copy my actions. He was so excited when he managed to hack off a chunk!
All the tomatoes were of course consumed as finger food previous to this.
Oh and I just noticed that he’s holding the fork in his right and the knife in his left - I wonder if this means he is still favouring the left in many situations or if it was because he was mirroring my actions.

From Mummy we got our own Kid Tough Digital Camera. Her Canon is now safe from grabby hands. She hopes.

All he could do was stand there and say “Whoah” at first. Then the paper carnage began.
Don’t Eat His Pies!
We’ve been up so many times tonight I don’t even recall going to bed. When EM wakes up and refuses to sleep he will insist on being able to play, or watch a DVD or use the iPhone - all of which I have banned. His choices are go to bed and lie there or quietly read a book. Here he is reading “Where is My Cow?” out loud to me while I sob from lack of sleep into a chai latte.

Yes EM using his bum as a drum. I have the most embarrassing child in Cairns Central Shopping Centre.

Santa turned up at daycare and handed out book gifts to the kids (us parents bought and wrapped the books to be given to our kids). EM was pretty excited.
